Our History

The real beginning of UNIT Publishing House, which reach a status of trade publication leader in a very short time.
Two first titles: Papierniczy Świat and Świat Zabawek are published for the very first time.

Świat Butow magazine is supported by another title – Rynek Obuwniczy Catalogue
Ebner Verlag become an owner of Publishing House. Guenter Forster accepted nomination for General Director and UNIT gained international support and know how.
First business title Handel+Zarządzanie dedicated for small and medium companies was introduced on the market.
As a result of being part of international group UNIT launched new title for film professionals Film&TV Kamera. It’s a polish edition of Film&TV Kameramann.
Time to move to the Internet – UNIT created tradebizz.pl – first polish trade portal.
UNIT offer was enlarged by new interantional brand – Chronos, dedicated only for fine watches. The first and only on polish market.
Papierniczy Świat announced contest for the best Internet website called Wirtualny Lider Branżowy.
New General Director at UNIT – Beata Łuczyńska.
Moda Forum built the first in Poland and propably in Europe as well – ideal fashion store called Moda Forum Concept Store. It was a background for workshops for fashion professionals. For 3 days Concept Store was visited by more than 300 professionals from fashion industry.
UNIT faced another challenge – the biggest city project which supports parents and teachers in taking care of children – Dziecko w Warszawie – Catalogue, CD, portal www.dzieckowwarszawie.pl. Great success and questions from readers and clients which town will be next.
Chronos got website face – watchtime.pl – the finest watches in one place, one portal. New product in UNIT portfolio –TOY Business Conference to support toy branch and provide consulting for those who run business in this sector. Workshops for toy professionals during one of the trade fairs – TOY SHOP – become a new date in calendars in toy industry.
Dziecko w Warszawie enlarged its family by national, annual publication – Dziecko w roli glownej
Dziecięcy Styl trade magazine was totally changed. New layout, new contnent and new title – Kids SHOP – it is not only a new quality for kids industry but also a gate to the international market. Świat Zabawek announced for the first time a contest for the best Internet website of toy industry called Wirtualny Lider Branżowy.
